  1. Hi, Caroline! You are a delight to watch. I have never heard of BBB before. Sadly, I don’t wear much makeup because well I’m lazy about that kind of thing. I love this challenge because I get to ‘meet’ interesting bloggers like you. Your video won me over and I’m going shopping for something that just fun—which I rarely do for myself.

    • Hi Nancy – thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to comment. I haven’t been able to take part in the A to Z Challenge this year as I had some family issues during March which meant that I didn’t get time to prepare. HOpefully next year!

  2. That’s quite a haul! I’m intrigued by the Eye of Horis pencil – color looked lovely, wonder if I can find that brand over here. Sorry to hear you had to drop from the A to Z Challenge but you did have a lot going on with your Dad – I was really looking forward to your theme as I am sure it would have been fabulous. Love your vlogs as always.

  3. I really liked the color of the two nail polishes…I hardly ever use any except occasionally in Spring/early Summer, so it’s right on time for me to look for some. Will be interested to know how you like the liquid blush…I’m thinking maybe it will go on really light and blendable…at least that’s what I would hope for. RE: the soaps, I only use liquid soap as well. In fact I banned bar soap from use in our house when I heard that liquid soap did not leave soap build up on tubs and showers…something about the solids in the bar soap sticking. I really do think we’ve had less build up than we used to. Enjoyed you popping in via vlog and my computer! 🙂

  4. What a box of treats. I’d just sat down at the computer with a coffee when I came upon your post, a lovely 10 minutes of so that really cheered me. Keep them coming Caroline, even if it means buying more things to show us, we’re all worth it.

    • Glad you enjoyed it, Jenny – I’ve cut back a lot on beauty buying this year as I really need to use up some of the mountain of things I have before accumulating more! Unfortunately the same doesn’t appear to be applying to books – I’m buying faster than I can read at the moment!

  5. Good to have you back with a great vlog as usual.some lovely items in this beauty box, i have the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in 07 nude-ist shade .Like you i usually wear a gloss finish, but this matt finish is really nice, and stays on better than most .,so think you will like it Caroline.
Be interested to see what you think of the hand cream .
I’m annoyed ,i did not buy the Clarins escape garden spring eye pallett when you did,i was trying to be good and use what i already have, then last week ,decided to finally buy it with gift vouchers (as that doesn’t count then does it !) and because its ltd edition everywhere sold out !Debenhams claimed to have only had two in which were sold immediately crazy .Boots said the same and even ebay only had one that was from Austria with £9 postage !Thats what comes from trying to be good !

    • Oh no, that’s SUCH a shame, Lynn – I absolutely love that palette, it’s one of my favourites now. Their spring collection was super popular this year, I know the lip oil was an instant sell out as well.

  6. Caroline,if you have time read Couture Girl blog ,post 25/03/2015 Bourjois rouge edition Aqua Laqie liquid lipsticks.Could be the next best thing to try .

  7. found you thro the A-z challenge list – not sure if you are doing it or not – smile?
just thought I’d leave you a comment to say its nice to find another Brit – with an accent to match – on here – I’m in south wales and have a craft supplies home business – but my challenge posts are about poultry – drop by if you’re interested! Am now following you!

    • HI Julz – thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to comment. Unfortunately, due to some family issues, I’ve had to give the A to Z Challenge a miss, as I had no time at all during March to prepare. Maybe next year! I’ll pop over and visit you a bit later – I spent two very happy years in South Wales at university many moons ago, so it’s nice to ‘see’ somebody from that neck of the woods! 🙂

    • I don’t find so many Clinique products that I like these days, though the new blushers – Cheek Pops? – look gorgeous. Don’t know how I’m restraining myself, really!
